HELLO! MY NAME IS PAULINA KOCIŃSKA
I help children, adolescents, and adults navigate through life’s challenges.
Together, we uncover inner strengths and resources to overcome difficulties and enhance everyday life in a safe and empathetic environment.
I help understand and process challenging emotions like stress, anxiety, or sadness, providing tools to manage them better.
I support building healthy relationships by teaching communication, conflict resolution, and trust-building skills.
I help discover personal potential, overcome limitations, and make decisions that lead to better well-being and life satisfaction.
ABOUT ME
I hold a master’s degree in psychology, specializing in development support (Kazimierz Wielki University, 2013). My experience includes work in psychiatric hospitals, care homes for people with mental disorders, and centers supporting individuals affected by violence.
For several years, I’ve run my own practice, focusing on improving patients’ quality of life. My approach is rooted in trust, empathy, and tailoring therapy to each patient’s unique needs.
MY OFFER
Individual therapy is available in Evesham or online. Each session lasts 50 minutes. The first meeting is a consultation, where we identify challenges, discuss potential diagnoses, and set goals for therapy. We’ll also establish a therapeutic contract and agree on the frequency of sessions—either weekly or biweekly.
Adult therapy is typically a long-term process.
Sessions are held in Evesham or online, lasting 50 minutes. At the first meeting, parents accompany the child, and we discuss the child’s life and perinatal history. Tests may be used to aid diagnosis. Child therapy usually lasts 10-12 sessions, using cognitive-behavioral techniques, psychoeducation, and supportive conversations. Parents are involved in the process, discussing progress and challenges with the psychologist. Sessions are typically held weekly or biweekly, based on individual needs.
Psychological sessions can be held in person or online, lasting 50 minutes. The first meeting is an interview/consultation with the parents/guardians and the teenager. Teen therapy can be short-term or long-term, depending on the nature of the difficulties the teenager is facing. The frequency of sessions is tailored to individual needs, typically weekly or biweekly.
Couples often seek therapy during a crisis in their relationship. Sessions can be in person or online, lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes. We work on identifying challenges, understanding their causes, and improving communication. If the crisis is too severe for joint therapy, I may recommend individual therapy for each partner, with the option to return to couples therapy later. Session frequency is determined individually.
Parents often raise concerns about educational issues during their child’s therapy. Educational consultations are designed to support parents in improving their relationship with the child, assist in the change process, and provide constructive tools to adjust ineffective parenting strategies. These consultations typically occur alongside child therapy. I offer tips, conduct mini-workshops, and give lectures on the specific difficulties the family is facing.
Sometimes, a crisis affects not just one individual but the entire family or couple. In such cases, family consultations can be arranged for the whole family or for the members involved in the relational conflict. Family consultations last 50 or 90 minutes, with session frequency determined individually.
